RTW Spring Summer 2011
Mary Katrantzou attended Rhode Island School of Design and then completed both her BA and MA at Central Saint Martins. She has previously worked for Sophia Kokosalaki and freelanced for Bill Blass, amongst other designers.
Mary Katrantzou recognised her design signatures to be ‘a hyperrealist aesthetic, bold graphics and industrial jewellery’. Mary’s collections consist of bold detailed prints, layered textures, shape and structure, abstract 3D, minimalist designs, clashing colours and prints. Her trademark piece was seen to be her ‘lampshade skirt’, in this years spring/summer 2011 collection. (Above)
