Francisco "Paco" Rabaneda Cuervo, or as we famously know him as Paco Rabanne, is a Franco-Spanish fashion designer born on the 18th February 1934. He started out being very interested in architecture, this explains the different textured materials used in his designs. Materials used in his first collection were, cardboard, metal and rhodoid, his interest in architecture greatly influenced his designs. His career started by making jewelry for Givenchy, Dior and Balenciaga, until he had the break and opened his own fashion house in 1966. Paco Rabanne is famous for his costume designs and his ever changing fragrances for both men and women.
